Young Writers’ Workshop
Ellen Hagan on Contemporary Poetry

In this ongoing series, young writers are invited to join notable authors in exploring different genres. In honor of National Poetry Month, poet, performer, and teacher Ellen Hagan will lead a discussion on contemporary poetry and teach participants how writers turn ideas into poems. Children will leave this workshop with a broad view of poetry and the inspiration and knowledge to craft their own poems.
